Any day is a good day for a kayak excursion on the Wekiva

What?

It's May 19, 2013 and Tom, Mary, John, Carol, Mike and Jessica decided the Wekiva River was calling their name. Its always a great place to paddle and a great habitat for the wildlife. They paddled with Kenny and saw the Great Blue Herons, a few Gators, some Turtles, Little Blue Herons in the white and blue phase. The Swallow-tailed Kites are a great treat this time of year, the Wild Turkeys came out to say hello, Moorhens, Anhingas and Cormorants did too, the Osprey and Great Egrets were out fishing and the Mullet was jumping. Life is good!

We loved our kayaking trip on the Wekiva River and would recommend this to anyone interested in Kayaking in Central Florida. Kenny was the perfect tour guide and was able to accommodate all of our skill levels. The river was beautiful, full of birds and other wildlife. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area. Thanks again to Kenny and Jenny, you guys are the great!
